Assigning Classrooms to Teachers, Students to Teachers and Students to Classrooms




SPEDup allows you to assign:

  • Students to Classrooms,

  • Classrooms to Teachers, and

  • Teachers directly to Students (for example, as a SPED teacher).

This allows you to build up and manage your campus accordingly.

To assign Students to Classrooms.

  1. Select a Student in the Directory and click the "Profile" tab on the right

  2. Click "Manage" by either Classrooms or SPED Teachers to link/unlink accordingly. The plus sign should be clicked to add. When the "X" is shown in red that means that the classroom or teacher is already assigned to that student. Clicking the "X" will remove that association.

Teachers are assigned to Classrooms from within their own Profile.

  1. The teacher will click "My Profile" on the home screen,

  2. Select profile (on the right) and "Manage" next to classrooms.

  3. Similar to how Students are added to Classrooms, the Teacher will select the "+" next to the Classroom they wish to join.

Multiple teachers and administrators can be assigned to any Classroom and will be able to see data on the students associated with that class.


Students can also be assigned to Classrooms from within the Directory.

  1. Go to the Directory from the Homepage

  2. Select the Classroom tab and go to the classroom to which you wish to add a student.

  3. Select the “students” tab and "Manage".

  4. If the student you wish to add isn't currently in the directory, click the "+" in the top right corner, allowing you to create a new student.

  5. Once created, the new student will appear in the list below.

  6. From here, click the small blue "+" next to the student you wish to add.

The same can be done with Teachers by clicking:

"Directory" -

"Classrooms" -

"<specific class>" -

"Teachers" '

"Manage"

This assigns a Teacher or Admin to a specific Classroom.
