Escalating a Report

When immediate assistance is needed due to a significant behavior or safety issue, sending a notification to the predetermined staff is as easy as opening the app and touching the red button on the home screen.

When selecting the red button, a screen opens so that a student, location and description of the behavior can be entered if needed OR just click the request support button.


When the request help button is selected, the predetermined staff (those who were given “admin” status) will get a push notification on their phones alerting them to the request for help. This escalation of support will also be noted within data reports.


You’ll notice that the red button is present throughout the app for quick access in order to easily request support. Each contact teacher can personalized  their response team - those who will receive notifications that you would like support for a situation.


1. Go to settings

2.     Select response team

3.     Select the Pencil at the top right

4.     Select your personal response team members by touching the plus sign by their names.  When the red X is shown by their name, that means that they are on your team and will receive push notifications when you request assistance.  Only those staff added will receive notifications.

Again - These will be the staff members who will receive notifications that you would like support for a situation.


Please note that push notifications rely on staff devices being connected to data and may be affected by data outages or poor signal and will be dependent on the individual's device settings in terms of volume and visibility of alerts received.
